In view of the approaching second wave of COVID-19 and the government's "rule of 6" we will NOT be resuming our services at Amersham Community Centre until we are satisfied that it is safe to do so.

Our current plan is to remain closed until the end of 2020 although we will keep the situation under review on a monthly basis. To keep up to date about our latest meeting arrangements, you may wish to "like" us on FaceBook.

The provisions we have put in place for when we do finally open our doors again are shown at the the bottom of this page.

What's on in the next 6 months?

Services take place at 7:30pm on Friday evenings in Amersham (except where shown). Click here for a Google map. (Opens in new window)

Meditation and healing is offered during the service.

When possible, mediums will be available for short private readings after the service. The cost is £8.00 for 20 minutes: proceeds to be donated to our nominated charity.

Don't forget to check out our upcoming special events.

FRIDAY 18th DECEMBER - Winter Festival
This is an opportunity for members and friends of the Centre to offer us some Christmas entertainmennt. We wil follow the current COVID-19 revommendations to keep everyone safe. Share with us the Christmas festivities and have a chat with members and newcomers. Bring your own food and drinks to make this event a proper Christmas party.

To be held at the ASC centre

A healing meditation session takes place towards the start of each service. As "hands-on" healing is not allowed, we will provide distant healing for those present who are in need of spiritual healing and also for those who cannot make it to the service. There is no charge for healing, although we are always grateful for donations to support continual training and personal development for our healing team.

COVID-19 Special Arrangements

  1. Meetings will take place in the large hall in order to facilitate social distancing.
  2. A maximum of 30 people may attend any meeting, including the medium and the committee.
  3. As we wonít be able to use any of the Hallís tables, we will bring our own fold-up camping table, with a table cloth.
  4. Chairs and tables will be sanitised both prior to and after each service.
  5. A receptionist will be situated by the door to greet all guests, and ask them to provide "track-and-trace" information as per government guidelines.
  6. We may use a contactless thermometer to check visitors' temperatures.
  7. Masks must be worn throughout the service unless guests can provide proof that they are exempt.
  8. Shaking hands, hugging and kissing is strongly discouraged. "Elbow bumping" is recommended instead!
  9. All attendees must use the hand sanitiser when they enter the hall or use the toilets.
  10. Only one person at a time is allowed to use the toilets and they will be cleaned after each use.
  11. Singing is not permitted so we will play pre-recordeed uplifting music before the medium's address and during the healing meditation.
  12. There will be no hands-on healing but we will instead practise distant healing.
  13. The collection plate will be placed by the door for free-will offerings.
  14. Tea and biscuits will not be provided so we ask attendees who want a drink to bring their own.
  15. Other measures may be introduced as government guidelines dictate or if the committee deems them to be prudent.
